Bio I live in the Henrietta community with my husband (Jeff). We have 2 adult children (Laurie and Lucas). I have lived in Cheatham County my entire life. My family and I are members of Walton’s Chapel Church, also in Henrietta. I attended West Cheatham Elementary School, Sycamore Junior High School and graduated from Cheatham County Central High School in 1986. After graduation, I attended Austin Peay State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness Promotion in 1990. I worked as a health educator for the Montgomery and Stewart County Health Departments for a year and a half before returning to school to receive teacher certification. After taking graduate classes at APSU, I earned a Master’s degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) in 1998. I began my teaching career at Sycamore Middle School in 1995. I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math at SMS. I’m looking forward to a very successful year! |
