Teacher Bio.

Education:
I obtained my college degree at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a focus in Music education: vocal education.

Experience:
When I first started teaching, I taught general music for seventh and eighth grade students in Marshall County Tennessee. After the school day, I was a choir director and had a group that consisted of seventh through twelfth graders. I taught at that particular school for three years and then I transferred to an elementary school, within the same county, for an additional three years. Again, I had the opportunity to provide an after school choir for my third through sixth graders and hosted community concerts and concerts at the school for families as well.

This is my third year at Sycamore Middle School but stated my teaching career in 2009. I look forward to building the music program here at SMS, and continue working with these amazing students!!

Bio:
My husband, Ken, and my amazing son, Jackson and I live in Hermitage, TN. We enjoy spending time together traveling to the mountains, going to the beach, swimming, playing games as a family, and cheering on the VOLS during football season!! We have two adorable dogs, Logan (black lab) and Lady Neyla, named after the Lady Vols (Blue Tick Coonhound) and enjoy taking them to the dog park during the warm seasons.
