SMS offers a thorough vocal music program including a choir for every grade level (6-8), as well as opportunities to perform at athletic events, and a chance to be a part of our popular Bucket Brigade!

The Sixth Grade Beginning Choir is a course with emphasis on teaching students proper techniques and music reading. No prior musical experience is necessary for participation in Beginning Choir. 

The Seventh Grade Choir is the intermediate level Choir at SMS. The class continues to emphasize proper singing techniques and music reading while learning more challenging literature and focusing on ensemble musicianship.

The Eighth Grade Choir is the advanced level Choir at SMS. The class continues to emphasize proper singing techniques and music reading while learning more challenging literature and focusing on ensemble musicianship and solo opportunities.
