About the Teacher
I earned my Bachelor's degree in 1992 and my Master's of Education in 2014. This will be my twenty-sixth year as a teacher and my third year at Sycamore Middle School. I have been happily married (Dwayne James) for thirty years, and have one lovely daughter, Megan (Kip) McNeill, who teaches 5th grade ELA at Sycamore Middle School. Our family was recently blessed with our first grandchild, who has me (Gigi), wrapped around her precious little finger! In my "spare" time, I enjoy teaching Children's Church and Awana, gardening, playing with my grandbaby, reading, listening to music, relaxing at the pool, spending time with family and friends, and walking with my dog. I love learning and teaching all facets of English Language Arts and look forward to knowing and serving the students in my care....
